Cloud Engineer EntraID 80 - 100%The Office for Informatics (AFI) is the IT competence center of the Canton of Zurich. It provides comprehensive services in the area of central IT infrastructure and canton-wide applications for the cantonal administration. As part of the implementation of the new Information and Communication Technology (ICT) strategy, AFI is also responsible for ensuring identity and access management for seven directorates, the State Chancellery, the middle and vocational schools, as well as for citizens.
To strengthen our IAM team in the IT Security and Resilience Service department, we are looking for a motivated Cloud Engineer with a focus on Microsoft Entra ID.
Your tasks
- Responsible for designing, implementing, and further developing cloud identity and access management solutions
- Administration, further development, and operation of the Microsoft Entra ID environment for all user groups in the Canton of Zurich
- Management of user identities, groups, and roles as well as implementation of access and authorization concepts
- Setup and maintenance of Conditional Access Policies, Single Sign-On (SSO), and Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA)
- Implementation of security and compliance requirements based on zero-trust approaches
- Participation in projects to further develop the identity and access management landscape
- Organization and maintenance of appropriate and up-to-date documentation
- Automation of routine tasks with PowerShell or Bash
Your profile
- Completed studies in computer science or a similar field at the bachelor level and several years of experience and broad knowledge in the EntraID environment
- Solid knowledge in EntraID as well as Azure B2C, Azure AD Connect, M365, Azure infrastructure, Power Platform, MS Intune
- Practical experience with PowerShell scripting, Bash, and Microsoft Graph API
- Microsoft certifications are an advantage
- Good understanding of complex environments, strong communication skills with high personal responsibility
- Fluent German and English skills
