For the Communication Engineering section of Flughafen Zürich AG, we are looking for several qualified electrical planners as part of a long-term project to provide long-term support to the team.

You will work on diverse projects, including offices, storage rooms, technical rooms, parking areas, commercial and gastronomy areas, as well as check-in and passenger areas.

Electrical planner for communication cable infrastructures (especially fiber optics)

We are looking for motivated professionals who can work independently and solution-oriented.

Your tasks:

• Construction coordination of new buildings and renovations according to ICT specifications (SIA 112)
• Planning and management of fiber optic infrastructures for buildings and facilities of Flughafen Zürich AG
• Recording, coordinating, and managing revision documents as well as entries in the cable management system KMS VM.7 after completed cable installations
• Independent technical clarifications and coordination with other specialist services
• Initiating expansions and troubleshooting of IT communication cabling
• Planning expansions and extensions of systems such as information displays (flight information / digital signals) and evacuation systems
• Independent processing of orders and malfunctions via the ticketing system SMAX

You will work on diverse projects, including offices, storage rooms, technical rooms, parking areas, commercial and gastronomy areas, as well as check-in and passenger areas.

Your profile:

• Completed training as an electrical planner EFZ or equivalent qualification (e.g., experienced electrician with additional training and project experience)
• Solid experience in concept creation and execution planning of complex communication cable infrastructures (especially fiber optics)
• Experience as a client representative in large construction projects is an advantage
• Advanced basic knowledge of complex network topologies
• Good knowledge of communication cable measurement technology
• Driver's license category B
• Willingness to occasionally work at night (during project introductions)
