About the job
Starting September 1, 2026, we offer an exciting internship position (80%, fixed-term, working days Tuesday - Friday) with a focus on neighborhood libraries and library education in the Winterthur libraries. The internship lasts 12 months and is primarily aimed at people pursuing an information science education.Your Tasks
- Advise and support guests in the library
- Convey media and services of the Winterthur libraries
- Perform administrative and practical tasks
- Participate in events and projects
- Support the implementation of library educational offers
Your Profile
- Completed vocational training with vocational baccalaureate or completed baccalaureate
- Enjoyment of customer contact with all age groups and working in various teams
- Communicative personality with strong customer orientation
- Good general knowledge and interest in various fields of knowledge
- Good Office user skills and basic technical understanding
- Understanding of the Swiss dialect as well as good oral and written German skills (mandatory level C1)
