Welcome to the fascinating world of taxes! The cantonal tax office collects taxes for the federal government, the canton, and the municipalities together with the municipal tax offices. We support individuals and businesses throughout the tax collection process. Around 800 qualified employees are committed to this at our location in Zurich Altstetten.

To strengthen our team, we are looking for a motivated Senior Project Manager starting immediately or by agreement. In this challenging position, you will actively lead projects, set impulses, and drive significant topics forward in a targeted manner.

Your tasks:

You will significantly contribute to planning and leading strategic projects with a high technology component of various types and sizes from the idea to successful implementation. You will specifically apply the project management method HERMES 2022.

In this versatile role, you will be responsible for achieving project goals regarding time, cost, and quality. Together with your interdisciplinary project team and our partners in the canton, municipalities, federal government, and private sector, you will successfully steer the projects in a dynamic environment.

You will actively work with the specialist department on solution architectures with a consistent focus on long-term business goals and demonstrate the potential for modern and effective IT solutions.

Your profile:

You are an experienced, independent, responsible, and communicative personality in project and line management and have been successfully working as a Senior Project Manager for several years. You have already had responsibility for results in complex projects with million-dollar budgets.

With your master's degree, you have the means to efficiently delve into new topics and set the right priorities. Ideally, you already have experience and know-how in the tax field.

You are solution-oriented and think logically-analytically. You consistently lead your projects and create a connection between proven practices and new concepts. You value transparent decisions and enjoy taking care of organizational, technical, and professional details.

With your eloquent and confident manner, you present yourself self-assuredly to your environment and are appreciated for your customer- and goal-oriented working style.

Certifications in classical and agile project management methods (e.g., IPMA Level B, HERMES Advanced, Scrum, or SaFe) would be additional evidence of your previous successes.
