Presentation
The Faculty of Social and Political Sciences offers four training programs that cover the main branches of the humanities. Political science, psychology, social psychology, sociology, anthropology, and history indeed form the basis of an interdisciplinary understanding of the interactions between the collective and the individual. These different programs are followed by more than 3,700 students. In its four programs, the Faculty of Social and Political Sciences seeks a balance between critical theoretical reflection and the acquisition of empirical research tools specific to each discipline.
The Faculty of Social and Political Sciences comprises four institutes:
• Institute of Political Studies
• Institute of Psychology
• Institute of Social Sciences
• Institute of Sports Sciences of the University of Lausanne
The Dean's Office of the Faculty of Social and Political Sciences is looking for its Faculty Administrator at 80-100%.

Your Activities
In close collaboration with the Dean of the Faculty of Social and Political Sciences, you lead and organize the administrative services of the units attached to the Dean's Office, taking into account the strategic guidelines set within the framework of the faculty development plan and respecting institutional directives.
In consultation with the Faculty Dean's Office, you define the budget and resources allocated to the different units, ensuring the preparation and development procedure of the budget.
You support the Dean's Office in its actions as well as in the implementation of new projects. You assist the heads of the different units to achieve their objectives, set priorities, and apply operating rules.
You define action plans in your area and assume responsibility for their implementation, respecting deadlines, the regulatory framework, and allocated resources.
As guarantor of the continuity of procedures, you establish standards to ensure the formalization of processes, the sustainability of information, and the monitoring of decisions.
Your Profile
Holder of a university Master’s degree, complemented by management training, you have more than 10 years of experience in the administrative management of a major unit, as well as proven experience in public management.
Your sense of collaboration and teamwork as well as your writing skills allow you to ensure the transmission and relay of decisions to management, departments, and institutional partners.
