YOUR TASKS
- Holistic development: Responsibility for the innovative concept development of electrical purchased parts for our shading systems – from the initial idea to series maturity
- Partnerships at eye level: You define the requirements (specifications) together with the product manager and actively drive new developments in close collaboration with the team and our suppliers
- Head and hand work: You are not just at the desk! You conduct electrical and electromechanical functional and endurance tests on prototypes and accompany the testing and certification processes
- Knowledge transfer: As our expert and key user of the system components, you accompany the implementation and support the training of internal as well as external departments
- Lifecycle management: You take care of your components throughout the entire product lifecycle and continuously develop them further
- Hub function: You act as a technical contact person for internal interfaces and offer solution-oriented support for ETO inquiries and complaints
YOUR PROFILE
- Completed further education as an electrical engineer HF, system technician, automation specialist, or a comparable technical qualification (training/studies in mechatronics)
- Experience in technical product development, component or supplier management
- Strong technical understanding of electrical and electromechanical components – ideally related to building automation or smart home
- You are a "doer": You bring a structured, independent, and solution-oriented way of working and appreciate high personal responsibility
- Confident handling of modern digital tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence, SAP, MS Office)
- Very good German skills; English skills are a clear plus for communication with suppliers
NICE TO HAVE
- Willingness to obtain the NIV Art. 13 permit (We support you specifically in this!)
- Experience with certifications, standards, and guidelines in the electrical engineering environment
- Affinity for future topics such as IoT and connected living
