For an external client project in the greater Zurich area, we are looking for an experienced, competent individual for the role of Business Analysis / Requirements Engineering at the senior level (from 5 years) starting from 01.07.2026

Acts as the interface between users and IT development or operations, collects and prioritizes requirements from the perspective of business processes and translates them into system requirements/specifications, analyzes the overall context of business processes, organizational structures, and IT usage, and identifies weaknesses as well as improvement potential.

Acts as the interface between users and IT development or operations, collects and prioritizes requirements from the perspective of business processes and translates them into system requirements/specifications, analyzes the overall context of business processes, organizational structures, and IT usage, and identifies weaknesses as well as improvement potential.
Main tasks:
- Translate business requirements into ICT requirements
- Analyze the overall context of business processes, organization, and IT usage
- Collect, verify, and document the professional needs and expectations of organizational units in their project undertakings; develop solution proposals and decision bases based on the collected requirements
- Support project management, product owner, and team with analyses and specifications
- Close collaboration with responsible specialists and users for the requirements
- Analyze requirements and define processes
- Collect, formulate, evaluate, and prioritize requirements and detailed specifications
Requirements:
Education, training, and certification:
- University degree/FH degree in (business) informatics or training as an IT specialist EFZ and corresponding further training
- Further training in requirements engineering (e.g., IREB, PMI-PBA) is an advantage
- More than five years of professional experience in the field
- In-depth knowledge in business analysis as well as relevant methods and techniques
- Knowledge of agile principles and frameworks
- Ability to collect, formulate, evaluate, and prioritize requirements
- Knowledge in project management
- Experience in collaboration with public administration (police organizations and other blue light organizations/intelligence service preferred)
- Very good German skills (at least level C1) and good English skills, spoken and written
- Impeccable reputation, acceptance of a personal security check, and signing of the confidentiality agreement
- Ability to advise and solve problems in demanding and complex issues
- Good analytical skills
