The Technical Service of Diakonie Bethanien is responsible for the maintenance of properties in Altstetten, Schwamendingen, and Zurichberg. These are either used by Diakonie Bethanien's own operations or rented out as apartments or offices to third parties. At the Altstetten location, there is a modern 14-story building that houses, among other things, the Placid Design Hotel and the urban restaurant Buckhuser.

What you can achieve:

• Carrying out necessary and preventive repairs in the hotel & restaurant 
• Cleaning of underground garage, entrance area, and surroundings
• Proper waste disposal 
• Handling technical concerns - especially repairs - in the daycares and a parent-child institution. 
• Issuing orders to external contractors and monitoring the execution of orders
• Procurement and management of necessary spare parts and consumables.
• Representing team colleagues during (vacation) absences 
• Taking on on-call duties, about seven days per month

What you bring with you:

• Technical training as a caretaker or specialist in facility maintenance
• Flair for technical systems (HVAC, building automation, etc.)
• Team-oriented, flexible, and service-oriented personality
• Structured and independent working style
• Very good German skills & good knowledge of Microsoft applications 
• Driver's license category B
