Operations Manager / Local Security Officer BESS (all)

You connect project and operations and ensure that a project becomes an operational plant. As a central interface, you ensure that requirements are integrated early and that new BESS plants are technically, organisationally and safely ready for commercial operation.

Your area of responsibility

• You coordinate the operational preparation of new BESS plants from planning to handover to commercial operation
• As a link between project and operations organisation, you incorporate operational requirements and coordinate the collaboration of planners, operators and suppliers
• Together with the project team, you define the criteria for operational readiness, coordinate operational readiness checks and ensure the structured handover to operations
• You ensure operational, maintenance, safety and emergency concepts as well as the associated documentation together with the relevant specialist departments
• You keep an eye on risks, open issues and pending tasks, drive their processing forward and escalate critical deviations early
• As an additional task, you jointly take on the role of Local Cyber Security Officer with another team member and support the implementation of relevant requirements and measures

What you bring with you

• You have a technical education or degree, preferably in electrical engineering, energy technology, automation or a comparable field
• You bring experience in operations, commissioning or project management of complex energy or technical plants; BESS knowledge is a plus
• Interface and stakeholder management suit you and you understand how to purposefully bring together different specialist departments
• You quickly grasp technical and organisational contexts and approach challenges in a structured, solution-oriented and independent manner
• With your clear communication, confident appearance and assertiveness, you represent operational requirements even towards different stakeholder groups
• Safety, quality and a sense of responsibility characterise your working style and you think beyond organisational and departmental boundaries
