Senior System Engineer (80–100%) with Technical Responsibility
To strengthen our IT team, we are looking for you as a Senior System Engineer with technical responsibility for the operational assurance of the operation of our client/server and SAP systems. You are responsible for the implementation of on-premise and cloud projects, drive automation forward, and take on technical leadership tasks if needed.
What you will do with us
- Responsibility for planning, implementing, and maintaining complex IT system landscapes
- Independent maintenance and support of the IT infrastructure including daily system monitoring
- Co-responsible as a central contact point in 2nd-level support
- Analysis and resolution of disruptions and error conditions
- Collaboration with other departments to implement new technologies
- Coordination of external service partners
- Maintenance of documentation and creation of configuration instructions
What you bring with you
- Training as an IT specialist EFZ, ideally with further education (HF/FH)
- Several years of experience in a comparable position
- Solid knowledge of MS products, Citrix, VMware as well as Linux (Suse/RedHat), certifications are a plus
- Team player with a high quality standard
- Analytical skills, problem-solving competence, and customer orientation
- Confident German in spoken and written form as well as technical English
