Deputy Head of Department Roads and Water Maintenance 80-100 %
Your tasks:
- Team partner of the department management and its deputy
- Partial responsibility in the department
- Co-responsibility for implementing the guidelines of the department management within the team
- Team member in the department
Field of activity, among others
- Maintenance of municipal roads and their drainage
- Water maintenance and their protective structures
- Operation and maintenance of collection/recycling points
- Participation in winter service including on-call duty
- Provision of infrastructure for municipal events (signage and assistance)
- Maintenance of inventory (tools, machines, equipment, and vehicles)
Our desired profile:
- Technical understanding, manual skills, and good physical condition
- Recognized technical training (e.g., road construction, general construction, crafts training (wood/forestry, metal, horticulture, vehicle technology, waste disposal/recycling, or a comparable qualification)
- Identification with sustainable operation and construction of municipal infrastructure
- Driver's license category B + E, option C
- Willingness to periodically take on on-call duty and thus a short commute
- Ideally, some leadership experience
