To complete our team in the Laundry Department of the EOC Industrial Services Center, we are looking for a

Laundry Department Head (100%)

Profile:

The Laundry Department Head is responsible for ensuring effective management of the department, guaranteeing the quality of production processes and its economic efficiency, in compliance with current safety and environmental regulations, quality, and hygiene standards.

The main tasks will be:

• Operational and organizational management of textile production departments (washing, finishing, quality control, repairs).
• Coordination of production staff, including shift planning, managing holidays/leaves, and supervising daily activities.
• Optimization of production processes and resources used, focusing on efficiency, quality, and waste reduction.
• Application of workplace safety and environmental protection rules, respecting current regulations and ISO standards within an integrated quality system.
• Organization and monitoring of department activities to ensure punctual deliveries, service quality, and customer satisfaction (internal and external).
• Accurate management of operational documentation and orders for consumable materials.
• Active collaboration with management to achieve company objectives.
• Operational and advisory support to internal and external clients, ensuring timeliness and effectiveness.

Required qualifications:

• Federal Certificate of Competence in a technical profession or equivalent.
• Experience in managing production personnel.
• Thorough knowledge of methods for defining and controlling production processes.
• Good knowledge of main computer applications.
• Application of an integrated quality and safety management system according to ISO standards.
• Spoken and written Italian and good knowledge of at least one other national language (preferred).
• Respect for quality, safety, hygiene, environmental protection, and cost-effectiveness principles in carrying out activities.
