Payroll and Service Manager 100%The Personnel Office is the competence center for all personnel, labor, and social security law questions of the over 35,000 employees of the Canton of Zurich as well as many public-law institutions. This area of responsibility also includes the Service Management team, which is responsible for planning and carrying out the monthly payroll processing including account reconciliation as well as the year-end processing.
To strengthen our 4-person team, we are looking for a committed personality with enthusiasm for complex tasks and genuine teamwork to start immediately or by arrangement.
Your tasks:
- Responsibility for monthly payroll processing and year-end processing (including DAG, reporting, etc.)
- Execution and monitoring of account reconciliations (SVA, SUVA, IV, withholding tax) in cooperation with the audit office
- Support of the annual account review
- Operational work as well as maintenance and operation of the HCM applications within the framework of 1st-level support
- Advising cantonal and non-cantonal customers in the use of the HCM applications
You bring with you:
- Commercial basic training with further education at the level of the federal specialist certificate
- Sound knowledge of SAP HCM and social security law
- Several years of experience in the payroll environment including payroll processing and account reconciliations
- Experience in public administration is an advantage
- Very good Excel and IT skills
- Independent, precise, and solution-oriented working style as well as discretion and teamwork skills
