R&D Internship: Vacuum sensor experiments
Are you looking for an opportunity to write your thesis in an industrial environment or obtain valuable industry experience, during or after your technical education?

Responsibilities:
Fueled by the ever-growing demand for computational power, the leading-edge technology nodes (≤ 5 nm) require process control at the atomic scale. At VAT, we are developing next generation vacuum solutions to meet the requirements for a new class of manufacturing processes. As a research & development intern in Haag, SG, you will get the opportunity to work on real-life industrial challenges. You will support the overall operation of R&D engineers through your involvement in daily activities and current projects. The hands-on laboratory activities will be performed on state of the art vacuum chambers, in the clean room environment of our newly built Innovation Center.
Your tasks will include:
- Development and execution of sensor characterization procedures
- Planning, execution and evaluation of experiments (Python)
- Presentations and discussion of your progress in team meetings
Qualifications:
- Master Student in electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, physics or a similar field
- Fast learner with independent work style, team player with excellent soft skills
- Passion for cutting-edge technology
