We are looking for a Director of Operations – Solutions Business Center to drive sustainable growth, build capabilities, unlock synergies, and ensure operational excellence across our global solutions business. In this role, you will strengthen the performance of our Solutions Business Center and support the long‑term success of the Endress+Hauser Group.

What is the role about?

You will help shape the global Solutions Business Center, collaborating with Corporate Sales Directors, Managing Directors of our sales centers and key functional stakeholders. Your work will focus on market development, process excellence, and building strong regional capabilities.
This position, located in Reinach, Switzerland, plays an important role in expanding our global solutions business footprint.
Which tasks will you perform?
You will:
- Lead, manage, and develop the global Solution Business Center (SBC) across four regional hubs (APAC, Middle East, Europe and South- and Middle America), enabling growth of local solution business.
- Implement the corporate solutions strategy, working closely with Corporate Sales Directors to align regional activities with global direction.
- Oversee operational excellence within the SBC by ensuring smooth collaboration between hubs, driving profitability, and promoting industrial and application diversity.
- Implement and govern standardized processes for sales, engineering, and service in alignment with the corporate solutions strategy.
- Coach, mentor, and develop your direct reports into trusted business partners who advise Managing Directors and strengthen local market performance.
- Ensure project execution aligns with Corporate Standards and Fulfillment processes.
- Build and nurture strong, trust-based relationships with Managing Directors, Corporate Sales Directors, and functional SBC leaders to drive collaboration and support market growth.
- Work closely with key internal stakeholders, including solution sales, marketing, engineering, service, and Strategic Industry Account Management, to enhance strategy and ensure effective project delivery.
- Identify and drive strategic project opportunities that accelerate growth and expand the Solutions Business globally.
What do we expect from you?
You:
- Bring a Master’s degree in Process Engineering, Business Administration, or a related technical field.
- Have 15+ years of industry experience, including 10 years in senior leadership, with a proven track record in hands‑on international sales, business development, and project management.
- Demonstrate strong capabilities in business strategy development, operational management, and driving impactful change across global environments.
- Possess deep understanding of solution business models; knowledge of the Endress+Hauser portfolio is an advantage.
- Excel in leading diverse teams, building trust-based relationships, navigating cultural differences, and resolving conflicts effectively.
- Combine a sales‑driven, customer‑focused mindset with resilience, humility, and the ability to make clear, results‑oriented decisions under pressure.
- Are fluent in English and proficient in MS Office, SAP, Salesforce, and other corporate IT tools
