About the job
Why MS Direct?
MS Direct is one of the leading Swiss providers for e-commerce fulfilment, cross-border logistics and customs clearance. Family-owned since 1978, with around 1200 employees in the group, and renowned major clients from e-commerce and retail. Our business model thrives on customised solutions – and technology determines how fast, economically and uniquely we can deliver them.
Every successful delivery starts here.
Every order begins at goods receipt.
This is where it is decided whether goods are received on time, capacities are adequate, quality is ensured, and the further material flow runs smoothly.
As Head of Goods Receipt, you take charge of a central area of our inbound logistics. You manage the operational goods receipt, lead your employees and ensure that even with high volumes, quality, productivity and deadlines are met.
In doing so, you not only keep an eye on daily business: you work with key figures, identify bottlenecks early, further develop standards and improve our processes together with your team and adjacent departments.
This role is thus the hub between operational logistics, transport, supply chain and other internal interfaces. The broad interface function is also anchored accordingly in the internal job description.
