What are we looking for?
We are looking for a Sales Engineer highly focused on the area of technical solution specification to join our engineering team. Based in Madrid, the selected person will be part of the team of engineers providing technical advice at a national level.What does the position involve?
- Contact with technical clients, engineering firms, architects, and technical departments of companies to offer a complete technical advisory service to the client. They will be responsible for managing custom technical projects involving the company's engineering areas, sales areas, and other support teams to present projects on time and in proper form.
- Conduct client visits, developing and proposing solutions along with technical offers and ensuring that the client portfolio includes the specification of Hilti products directly or indirectly, taking into account the needs and requirements of clients and/or projects.
- Support the sales network in defending the technical/economic offer before the client
- Ensure presence in Universities, Associations, and Professional Colleges.
- Technical training and seminars in companies and technical organizations.
- Occasionally perform calculations for clients.
Requirements
- Education: technical or higher engineering, technical architecture or similar.
- Previous experience in a similar position.
- Previous sales experience highly valued.
- Availability to travel frequently nationwide.
- Good level of English is valued.
- Results orientation and organizational skills.
- Ability to work in a team and independently.
- Initiative and versatility, with ambition to face new challenges .
