We are looking for a committed individual with experience in implementing S/4HANA conversions and S/4 greenfield migrations. In this role, you will take over the administration and system maintenance of the existing SAP landscape to ensure a stable and high-performance operating environment. Furthermore, you will administer cloud connections, including the SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP) and the Cloud Connector, to enable seamless integrations. As a senior specialist, you will advise the team on complex technical challenges and optimize processes for greater efficiency and scalability. You bring solid knowledge in SAP Basis, cloud technologies, and project management to drive the digital transformation of our company.

Your tasks

Responsibility for the administration and operation of SAP application servers, SAP HANA databases, S/4HANA systems, as well as the upcoming upgrade projects of DB2 and ExaData SAP systems to S/4HANA
Ensuring smooth system operation as well as performing system maintenance, upgrades, and performance optimizations
Analyzing and resolving complex disruptions and supporting error diagnosis
Advising and supporting the planning and implementation of SAP projects
Administration of the BTP and Cloud Connector landscape
Identifying and implementing automation opportunities, ideally with Avantra

Your profile

Education and training in computer science or equivalent professional experience
Several years of experience in SAP Basis administration at a senior level
Solid knowledge in SAP HANA, S/4HANA, DB2, and ideally ExaData is an advantage
Knowledge in BTP and Cloud Connector administration
Experience in implementing and using monitoring and automation tools such as Avantra is an advantage
Structured, solution-oriented working style and a high sense of responsibility
Teamwork skills, initiative, and enjoyment of collaboration in a dynamic environment
Very good German skills in spoken and written form, good English skills
