Your area of responsibility includes
- Posting of ongoing business transactions (accounts receivable, accounts payable, general ledger accounts)
- Reconciliation and maintenance of accounts as well as execution of dunning including debt collection
- Preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements according to Swiss GAAP FER (OR)
- Responsibility for the preparation and timely submission of the reporting package within the scope of the consolidated financial statements
- Preparation of VAT returns and ensuring compliance with tax regulations
- Intercompany reconciliations and management of fixed asset accounting
- Execution and assurance of payment transactions
- Collaboration with tax consultants, auditors, and auditors
- Management, documentation, and archiving of accounting documents
- Building and maintaining ongoing account documentation for monthly closings (e.g., provisions, prepayments, liabilities, other assets)
- Participation in the optimization and standardization of processes in financial accounting
- Interface and contact person for group functions
This qualifies you
- Federal diploma in finance and accounting or similar qualification
- Several years of experience in financial accounting (accounts receivable, accounts payable, general ledger, monthly and annual financial statements)
- Confident handling of accounting software and very good Excel skills
- Analytical thinking and structured, solution-oriented working style
- High reliability, accuracy, and sense of responsibility
- Discretion in handling confidential data
- Resilience, punctuality, and ability to work in a team
