School Social Work Specialist 70 - 80%The Kantonsschule Limmattal is a high school for the regions of Knonauer Amt and Limmattal and is located in Urdorf. It includes a two-year lower level (7th/8th grade) and the subsequent short gymnasium (9th–12th grade). All Matura profiles and a bilingual Matura are offered. The school currently has 140 teachers, 35 staff in administration and operations, and around 900 students; in the coming years, expansion to a student number of up to 1,100 is planned.
As of April 1, 2026, a newly created position as a school social worker with a workload of 70-80 percent is to be filled.
Tasks
As a school social work specialist, you advise high school students on personal and school-related problems, promote their integration, and support teachers and school management in early interventions. You actively shape the community, take an initiative role in prevention, maintain a network with counseling centers, and develop needs-based school social work at our school together with other professionals.
Profile
As a committed personality, you bring experience in school social work and youth counseling and are interested in support and development tasks in the important area of mental health. Thanks to your solution-oriented attitude, you mediate between concerns and work independently and in a structured manner. You actively help shape the new offering. Communication skills, teamwork, and resilience assist you in dealing with stakeholders and crises. A formal requirement for employment is a Bachelor in Social Work with a CAS in School Social Work or a comparable field.
