The city of Thun is a significant property owner and uses its real estate strategically for attractive urban development. As the owner’s representative, the Office for City Properties is responsible for real estate management.
We are looking for a new team member starting January 1, 2026, or by agreement.
Your tasks:
- You are responsible within a small and dynamic team for the strategic management and further development of the city’s real estate portfolio.
- You develop property strategies as well as decision-making bases for strategic portfolio management.
- Within the team, you ensure the economical and sustainable use of financial resources throughout the entire life cycle of the property.
- As the owner’s representative of a diverse and interesting portfolio, you safeguard the interests of the city of Thun and are interested in the long-term development of trends in the construction industry.
- You prepare applications for political decisions.
You bring with you:
- Completed university or technical education in construction or real estate (architect, engineer).
- Solid knowledge in business administration and/or real estate economics.
- Good analytical and conceptual thinking as well as goal-oriented, systematic, and precise working methods and resilience.
- A positive, winning presence and good communication skills in dealing with a diverse clientele.
- Ability to think holistically and solve concrete problems constructively.
