The employees of the cyber investigations are specialists in crime in the digital space. They triage cases of digitized crime and conduct investigations in technically complex cyber offenses. With their expertise, they support the cantonal police as digital investigative support.

Your main tasks
- Operational and professional management of the Cyber Investigation Unit
- Training and further education of the team
- Triage, leadership, and handling of investigation procedures in digitized crime as well as in technically complex cyber offenses
- Advice and support for police officers in receiving reports and taking initial measures
- Advice and support for investigators in investigation planning, interrogations, house searches, international legal assistance, and measures according to the Cybercrime Convention
- Advice to operational leaders on offense-oriented technical matters
- Leadership of technical investigative support in special commissions or special situations
- Training, instruction, and lecturing activities
- Participation in cross-departmental projects and specialist groups as well as in expert committees
- Support in the further development of the Cybercrime Unit
- Provision of weekend and specialized on-call services
Your profile
- Police officer with a federal professional certificate
- Several years of experience in police service is mandatory
- Leadership and investigative experience is an advantage
- Proven affinity for technology
- Knowledge and experience in information and communication technology, training in an ICT field is an advantage
- High social and personal competence
- Quick comprehension as well as holistic and cross-departmental thinking
- High performance and service commitment
- Team player with integrative skills and the necessary assertiveness
- Willingness for ongoing specialized training, especially to complete the CAS Cyber Investigation & Digital Forensics
- Very good communication skills and flawless German in spoken and written form
- Foreign language skills, especially English, are an advantage
- Interesting and varied activity
