To strengthen our team, we are looking for a
Your area of responsibility
- Working in the LWL operational backbone network of Eniwa AG
- Preparation, configuration, and splicing of LWL components
- Creating and activating fiber optic connections, including connections for new customer connections and dark fiber connections
- Executing patch orders in our own data centers or fiber stations
- Conducting measurements with OTDR, power measuring devices (powermeter), and other testing equipment for quality assurance and commissioning
- Troubleshooting and fault resolution, including escalation and coordination in complex error scenarios
- Documenting connections, measurement values, and network changes in the designated systems
Your profile
- Completed vocational training in the electrical engineering field (e.g., network electrician EFZ, electrical installer EFZ, assembly electrician EFZ, or comparable training)
- Experience in fiber optic technology (splicing, LWL measurement technology, etc.) or a strong willingness to learn these skills
- Experience in the telecommunications environment is an advantage
- Independent, quality-conscious, and solution-oriented working style
- High sense of responsibility and safe, clean working in the field and in the data center
- Willingness to work outside regular working hours (on-call duty about 5-6 weeks per year, night work/weekend work about 6 times a year)
- Willingness for continuous further education in the field of fiber optic technology
- Good IT user knowledge
- Driver's license category B (mandatory)
- Good German language skills, both spoken and written
