Case Officer Border Investigation 60 - 100%

The Zurich Cantonal Police, with its approximately 4000 employees, takes responsibility for security in the canton. This also includes the control of persons entering, leaving, and transiting through Zurich Airport. The police tasks related to the largest Schengen external border of Switzerland fall within the jurisdiction of the Border Investigation unit. To actively support our team, we are looking for:

Case Officer Border Investigation 60 - 100%

Tasks

• You enforce entry regulations according to both national and international law and ensure their compliance
• You conduct targeted controls and operations, with a clear focus on combating cross-border crime
• You take on various core police tasks and thus actively contribute to ensuring public safety

Profile

• You hold Swiss citizenship
• You have completed training as a police officer (federal diploma)
• You are interested in international cooperation, migration issues, and enjoy working with people from diverse cultures
• You are a committed individual, enjoy working in a team, and are willing to continuously develop your skills
• You have good English skills – additional foreign language skills are an advantage
