We are looking for an Application Specialist / Elemental Analysis to join our Analytical Instruments and be part of a team that is at the forefront of innovation in elemental analysis technology! You should be an exceptionally skilled XRF Specialist with extensive experience in XRF (ED and WD) instrumentation, applications, and workflows. Location: Ecublens/Cheseaux - Switzerland
Your Responsibilities:
- Conduct XRF demonstrations and analyses of prospect samples.
- Provide technical support and handle XRF for customer demonstrations and reports.
- Develop collaborations with key customers and act as an ambassador for BEA.
- Prepare and present conference material during events in French or English.
- Develop new applications with the XRF applications team.
- Participate in development and innovation roadmaps.
- Act as an ambassador for BEA, bringing to bear outcomes from key collaborations.
- Assist Sales and Dealers with inquiries and non-standard requests.
- Build and update XRF application-related sales and marketing materials.
- Collaborate with the Product Manager to support business strategy and roadmap
- Provide outstanding support to the factory
- Ensure alignment with sample management procedures and supply to quality initiatives.
- Maintain work equipment and ensure document integrity according to guidelines.
- Observe hygiene and safety rules in all laboratories and demo areas.
Your Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Physic, Chemistry, Material sciences, or a related field. Master's degree is a plus.
- Confirmed experience with XRD or elemental analysis using TOF spectroscopy.
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to analyze data, identify trends, and propose data-driven solutions.
- Strong communication skills in English (French is a plus)
- Willingness to travel internationally up to 20%.
