Job opening within the TSHM Versoix team for a 60% socio-educational assistant position.
Job Description
- Ensure proximity prevention work, mediation, and support for young people disconnected from social ties and/or seeking socio-professional integration, through various means such as managing meal times, reception areas, small jobs, open reception, gym room, and street presence,
- Ensure animation and supervision of adolescents (12-18 years) and young adults (18-25 years),
- Prepare and follow up on actions and animation projects in the municipality in connection with the TSHM team and municipal partners,
- Assume management and organizational tasks related to activities and objectives set by the three-year plan.
Qualifications
- Possess or be in the process of obtaining a CFC socio-educational assistant or an equivalent qualification or similar professional experience,
- Desired experience (e.g., monitoring) in sociocultural animation with young people aged 12 to 25,
- Successful experience in sociocultural animation,
- Ability to work within open reception frameworks with adolescent and young adult populations,
- Charisma and interpersonal skills, aptitude for kindness, listening, self-reflection, and conflict management,
- Ability and willingness to work in a team and network, creative and dynamic spirit,
- Experience in organization and planning, managing priorities and emergencies,
- Use of common computer software, rigor and respect for deadlines,
- Good knowledge of the Geneva social system and the functioning of FASe.

- Open to flexible hours: activities some mornings, afternoons, and evenings, possible on weekends,
- Salary according to the Geneva State pay scale: maximum class 10
