Music Group Leader (Activation Employee, Workload 10%)

The SONNHALDE in Grüningen (ZH) is a modern care and support center with around 300 beds. On 14 wards, we accompany people with physical and psychological impairments with individual and appreciative care.

We are looking for a committed professional with solid training in the field of music (music therapy, music education or comparable) for activation as well as experience in working with mentally impaired people immediately or by arrangement.

• Planning, implementation, and follow-up of the musical group offer for the residents
• Use of music as a means of expression, communication, and resource promotion
• Implementation of musical events (so far 2-3 per year)
• 1-2 assignments per year on weekends
• Collaboration in the multiprofessional team

• Completed training in music therapy, music education or a comparable qualification
• Experience in working with mentally impaired people
• High social competence, especially empathy and teamwork
• Musical versatility as well as joy in working with groups
• Flexibility, resilience, and pronounced organizational skills
• Independent, structured, and responsible way of working
• Experience with electronic patient documentation (e.g. Care Coach) is an advantage
