Are You the team member we are looking for?
Unit8 is looking for a Senior Consultant to join our growing Data & AI Consulting Practice in Lausanne. Purpose of our Practice is to support our data scientists and data engineers with a holistic data & AI related consulting offering, ranging from technical/ operational to conceptual/ strategic. You will have the opportunity to accompany the implementation of state-of-the-art ML models and data science technologies in real-world, highly impactful challenges. You will drive the the whole lifecycle from business development to project implementation and client relationship building. You will become a core team member and take responsibility for scaling up the consulting practice within a fast-growing AI & Advanced Analytics services provider.
What You’ll Do
Your role can evolve and will depend on our clients’ and internal challenges.
In general, you will:
- consult our clients on their path to become a data-driven company, e.g. by assessing the client’s data and machine learning maturity or identifying data-driven use cases and a defining an impactful implementation roadmap
- interact with our clients to understand their data-related challenges and related tech and business questions they need to answer
- collaborate with our data scientists, data engineers and IT architects on the implementation of impactful data-based solutions and machine learning use cases
- consult on the implementation of critical enablers like data governance, model governance, MLOps or analytics centres of excellence
- interact directly with the head of our Data & AI Consulting practice as part of a small, high-performing team to co-develop the growth strategy and concepts for new data & AI consulting offerings
- contribute to our business development in preparing and participating in industry conferences, workshops and client sales meetings
- support the creation of white papers and industry thought leadership on data science & AI-related topics
You are
- equipped with 3-6 years of work experience in a leading management consultancy at the intersection of business & technology or an equivalent experience in a corporate environment
- experienced in advising clients on data-based topics such as (advanced) analytics, machine learning, data platforms and cloud
- able to quickly identify and prioritise business challenges and provide innovative and relevant solutions, either during an ongoing client project or in business development activities
- talented in building lasting relationships to clients and team members
- a Bachelor’s or Master’s graduate in IT/ computer science, engineering, business, mathematics or natural sciences
- fluent in English and French
- holding a Swiss passport or a valid EU/EFTA work permit
