What you will do:
- Analyze the needs of our clients through the specifications issued.
- Justify and optimize the design of structures by performing sizing calculations and assessing resistance to static, dynamic, and thermal loads, in compliance with current standards.
- Draft the technical documentation related to calculation activities throughout all phases of the project.
- Actively participate in internal progress meetings and with clients.
What you bring:
- You hold a degree in engineering from a recognized institution or equivalent (Master's level).
- 3 years of professional experience in a similar position.
- You master various types of mechanical calculations: static, modal, frequency response, shock, and thermoelastic, for metallic materials and, if possible, composites.
- You express and write fluently in French and English. You are able to defend your technical solutions in both languages.
- You are an organized and rigorous person and are proactive.
- Proficiency in Nastran and FEMAP is desired.
- Proficiency in Python is an asset.
- Knowledge of ECSS standards is an asset.
