Co-Leaders / Co-Leader Master’s Program Applied Information and Data Science 80 – 100%

• Together with the co-leader, you bear the overall responsibility for the Master of Science in Applied Information and Data Science. This includes, among other things, the continuous content development of the curriculum, the integration of state-of-the-art methods/technologies, the leadership of subject matter experts, financial control, the entire administrative-organizational coordination of the program, quality management, advising students, marketing and communication activities, and maintaining program-specific partnerships. Additionally, you engage together with the other program leaders at the level of the entire education. The scope of these activities corresponds to about 40%.

In the other 40-60%...

• you teach at the Lucerne University of Applied Sciences and Arts as a lecturer, especially in your own program.
• you acquire, lead, and work on applied research and consulting projects.
• you publish in scientific journals or professional magazines and further develop your network within (inter)national conferences and meetings.

• You have a university degree and preferably a doctorate in a data science-relevant discipline.
• You are innovative and can agilely transfer rapid technological developments into modern higher education didactic training formats.
• Your teaching experience, ideally at the master’s level, facilitates your entry.
• You have a team-oriented, cooperative working style.
• You think and act strategically and advance the program as well as the Lucerne University of Applied Sciences and Arts.
• You are an organizational talent and communicate confidently in German and English (the program is conducted entirely in English).
• Experience in applied research and a network and reputation in the professional community are advantageous.
• Several years of professional experience in the business practice relevant to this program complement your profile.
