Our mission: We secure your flight! We are looking for dedicated and qualified employees for our shop floor in various areas within the Piece Part Repair department at Zurich Airport. As a Surface Treatment Specialist, you will take on the following tasks:
- Preparing engine parts (e.g., shot blasting, cleaning, masking, degreasing)
- Performing surface treatments (e.g., thermal spraying, painting, coating, electroplating)
- Mechanical rework such as grinding, blending, surface matching
- Independent quality control of treated components
- Operating/monitoring equipment and process parameters
- Documentation of work and inspection steps
- Compliance with safety, quality, and chemical regulations as well as 5S
- Support in continuous improvement projects
Your profile
- Completed technical vocational training (e.g., surface treatment, mechanics, production)
- Experience in at least one of the areas painting, coating, electroplating, or as a tinsmith/metal construction locksmith
- Careful, responsible, and quality-oriented working style
- Team-oriented, flexible, reliable
- Good German skills (at least level B2), English is an advantage
- Willingness to work in a 2-shift system
- Basic IT knowledge
