Head of Transport Pratteln

Your tasks

• As a supervisor for drivers and fitters, you coordinate the interface between the warehouse and dispatch and take on partner management for the Pratteln region.
• You enjoy dispatching our vehicles as well as organising two-person deliveries in the furniture and equipment sector.
• You are responsible for planning and coordinating the assignments of drivers and fitters, independently processing orders and ensuring timely delivery.
• You take on administrative tasks and work in shift operation with structured handover.

Our requirements

• For this position, you bring a completed commercial or logistics education as well as experience in a comparable position, preferably in dispatch and leadership.
• You have good knowledge of ARV1 (Working and Rest Time Ordinance) and take into account the legal driving and rest times in your planning.
• You are characterised by organisational talent, a structured way of working, as well as resilience and flexibility. Teamwork and strong communication skills complete your profile.
• Very good French and German skills as well as confident use of MS Office are required.
• Willingness to work shifts (early and late shifts, 5 working days between Monday and Saturday) is also expected.
