Co-Head of Ward Internal Medicine/Palliative Care (80% - 100%)
The C7 ward primarily treats and cares for medical patients. The specialized Palliative Care ward with an attached competence center also belongs to the C7 level.Your Challenge
- Together with the co-management, you lead the nursing team with about 50 employees as well as 10-15 nursing students HF / FH, health professional trainees, and interns.
- You plan, coordinate, and monitor the competent deployment of employees. You recruit new employees and supervise the staff.
- You organize the nursing process in consultation with the medical staff and specialists.
- In addition, you take responsibility for the nursing ward budget and ensure an economically efficient use of resources.
- You work in tandem in a co-management and exchange with the professional management of Palliative Care.
- You actively contribute to ensuring and further developing the quality of nursing and training, a good working and learning climate, as well as high patient satisfaction on the ward.
- In your leadership work and at the patient’s bedside, you are a role model.
Your Profile
- Ideally, you bring several years of professional experience as a certified nursing professional HF/FH, initial leadership experience is an advantage but not a must.
- Your social skills are pronounced, and communication in leadership and nursing daily life is target group appropriate and clear.
- You have good working methods and can efficiently organize your diverse tasks.
- You are open and flexible regarding changes and willing to actively support them.
