About the job
What you will do here
- Collaborate within the SNSF project "(Un)changing gender roles and family diversity in Switzerland and beyond: causes, consequences, and challenges (GenFam)“, which is conducted in cooperation with several universities in Switzerland.
- Coordinate the project together with the project management and a doctoral student
- Collect, analyze, and interpret empirical data
- Contribute to the dissemination of research results (e.g., through conference presentations)
- Write and publish scientific articles
What you ideally bring
- PhD in social sciences
- Very good knowledge in the fields of (Swiss) labor market, social, and equality policy
- Experience with empirical social research (especially qualitative: interviews and ethnographic observations)
- Experience with scientific research strategies and additional affinity for quantitative survey methods
- Very good German skills, good French and English skills (working language in the overall project is English)
- Self-responsibility, commitment, communication, and teamwork skills
The initial interviews will take place on May 19 or 20, 2026.
