Purpose:
As part of the Indirect Purchasing team, you work closely with Category Management to determine what is purchased and where. In this varied role as a Supply Specialist, quality, cost, and on-time delivery are the focus – with the highest priority on the satisfaction of our internal customers.
Your tasks:
- Obtaining quotes, creating quote comparisons, and conducting price clarifications
- Issuing orders and actively monitoring delivery dates
- Maintaining and developing supplier relationships, including support in price negotiations, concluding volume contracts, and supplier visits in coordination with Category Management
- Supporting strategic activities such as evaluating new suppliers, supplier assessments, and conducting benchmarks
- Continuous maintenance of data in the ERP system (article and supplier master data)
- Managing assigned articles and suppliers from a commercial perspective (Kanban, disposition, order-related)
- Shaping efficient processes along the entire "Source-to-Pay" process chain
Your profile
- Completed commercial training, e.g., as an industrial clerk
- Further training as a purchasing specialist or in business administration is an advantage
- 3–5 years of solid purchasing experience in a manufacturing company
- Good MS Office skills and experience with ERP systems (MS Dynamics D365 is an advantage)
- High flexibility and ability to quickly adapt to new requirements
- Structured, analytical, and solution-oriented working style with a pragmatic approach
- High resilience as well as diplomatic and assertive demeanor
- Very good German and good English skills
