The Department of Mathematics and Computer Science at the University of Basel is looking for a qualified teacher starting 1 July 2026 (or by agreement).
Your Tasks
- Independent development and implementation (including performance assessments) of courses in the Bachelor's curriculum in Mathematics and in service courses for the fields of Biology, Computer Science, Nanosciences, and Physics in consultation with the respective teaching committees
- Currently, there is a need for teaching in the following subject areas:
- Responsibility for the quality development and quality assurance of the corresponding teaching offerings
Your Profile
- Completed university degree with a doctorate in Mathematics
- Proven didactic skills and teaching experience
- Scientific competence
- Social competence
- Willingness for continuous didactic and scientific further education
- Proficient in German and English in teaching
