The Rämibühl Secondary School is a long-term gymnasium with classical and modern language profiles. Around 120 teachers and 30 staff members guide approximately 900 students to the Swiss Federal Matura and university entrance qualification – some also to the International Baccalaureate (IB). The attractive school facility is centrally located near the Zurich universities in the middle of the green Rämibühl Park.

To strengthen our team, we are looking for the following from April 1, 2026, or by agreement:
School Social Work Professionals (40 - 90%)
You are a communicative, proactive, flexible, hands-on, unbureaucratic, efficient, assertive, and composed person. You will join a school where your knowledge, experience, and ideas are sought after and appreciated in the conception and development of the new school social work offering.
Your tasks
You will be committed at our school to the prevention, identification, and handling of social problems and situations that burden the school or classroom climate. You are interested in age-typical developmental tasks and related aspects of mental health. With your solution-oriented attitude, you can mediate well between different concerns. In collaboration with the class teachers, you establish a process for difficult cases and take over case management. You guide teachers in independently handling challenging situations with their classes by planning appropriate further training measures in consultation with the school management.
Your profile
- Competencies in counseling, prevention, and intervention
- Teamwork skills, resilience, independent and structured working style
- Enjoyment in building a new offering (advantage: knowledge in concept or project work)
- Bachelor’s degree in Social Work combined with further training in school social work (CAS) or a comparable field (CAS)
