Job Description

Reporting to the Assistant Director of Fairmont Spa, the essential responsibilities and functions of the position include, but are not limited to:

• Consistently provide professional, friendly, and engaging service
• Advise and inform clients optimally at Reception
• Help clients navigate within the Fairmont Spa and inform them about the services and products used
• Welcome clients, explain and sell products and accessible activities and services
• Coordinate reception and client requests
• Inform clients about programs and schedules
• Coordinate client payments and communications
• Ensure clients are directed to the right places for their treatments or activities and in contact with the appropriate staff
• Report all issues and complaints related to Fairmont Spa
• Be in contact with relevant departments to confirm reservations, ensure maintenance and cleaning, and overall operation while respecting standards
• Communicate all necessary information during meetings to optimize the success of Fairmont Spa and the services offered
• Open and close Fairmont Spa if needed
• Promote Fairmont Spa
• Commit to the quality of service, discretion, and perfect honesty
• Maintain a professional attitude, be smiling, and remain calm at all times
• Be flexible and cooperative in all circumstances, especially if required to work in another department occasionally
• Respect ergonomic work standards, health & safety rules, hygiene, and sanitary prescriptions
• Respect the policies, procedures, and service standards of the department and company
• Any other tasks as assigned

Qualifications

• Internship as part of hotel training
• Mastery of the French language
• Good knowledge of English
• Russian or Arabic language is a plus
• Proficiency in computer software
• Flexibility and initiative
• Sense of hospitality and sales
• Adaptability
• Composure (manage customer complaints and emergency situations)
• Rigor and organization
• Good presentation

• Constant: standing and walking throughout the work period

VISA REQUIREMENTS

To be able to work in Switzerland, the candidate must hold a Swiss work permit or be from an EU-17 or EU-8 European country.
