Electrical Specialist Planner - Cable Management Energy Technology
Your tasks:
In demanding substation projects in the transmission network, you support cable planning in the low voltage area:
- Consolidating cable lists from the various trades into a comprehensive overall cable list
- Technical support of the project manager during specification (procurement) and during the implementation phase of the plant cabling
- Calculation of cable lengths from existing plans/models as well as determination of the required cable cross-sections
- Joint development of cable routing plans with construction specialists and participation in the design of cable duct blocks
- Updating documentation in case of changes during the execution phase
Your profile:
- Completed training as an electrical planner, electrical technician HF/FH, automation technician or equivalent technical qualification
- Several years of professional experience in the planning and design of cable systems (ideally low voltage in plant/substation area)
- Very good knowledge in short-circuit calculation, voltage drop and selectivity testing for low voltage cables
- Confident handling of CAD tools (preferably AutoCAD) as well as planning and schematic tools
- Good knowledge of MS Office and Visio; experience with Engineering Base is an advantage
- Structured, independent and solution-oriented working style
- Analytical thinking ability as well as the ability to precisely interpret drawings, schematics and models
- Communicative, team-oriented and reliable personality with enthusiasm for learning new topics
- Very good German skills (C1+) and advanced English skills; French skills are an advantage
- Your place of residence is in Switzerland
