Charging in confined spaces
The most flexible arrangement of power terminals
The housing of the distribution terminal has been developed for ceiling mounting; the detection and distribution of this charging solution derives from the requirements of bus and truck garages. Due to the close arrangement of parking spaces, the space for charging columns is reduced, but the battery charge state detection of the connected battery is large and clearly visible from afar. The release functions on the distribution terminal exploit the longer parking time to charge the vehicles, meaning that charging starts automatically after plugging in without having to designate specific charging spaces. The distribution terminal is placed above the vehicles; the power technology is located in a technical room not reserved for parking.
If additional operational guidance is desired, a connected computer or a screen control device can be used.

This means the solution is also useful for fleets of cars that need to be charged quickly in confined parking situations, especially in underground garages or other spatial situations that do not offer enough space for additional fast charging stations, as is usually the case with public charging stations.
