Job Description
- Be responsible for providing quality care to the patient based on medical prescription or according to the criteria of their autonomous role;
- Evaluation and preparation of patients for pre-operative care and assisting doctors in the operating room;
- Evaluation and preparation of patients for additional examinations such as angiographies, and for treatments such as laser therapy;
- Management of medication and equipment orders;
Qualifications
- Hold a recognized HES nursing diploma acknowledged by the Red Cross;
- Have authorization to practice;
- Experience in ophthalmology is an asset (providing care during angiographies and assistance during intravitreal injections and surgical interventions);
- BLS certificate/course dated less than two years ago, an asset;
- Professionalism, motivation, flexibility, versatility, and dynamism;
- Organizational skills, autonomy, and ability to take initiative;
- Fluency in French, good knowledge of English, and other languages are an asset;
- Good interpersonal skills and team spirit;
- Ability to manage stress;
- Proficiency with computer tools;
