About the job
«All children and young people grow up strengthened, confident and joyful - in a supportive environment and a society that enables participation.»
This is our vision and currently around 200 employees and over 1000 volunteers throughout Switzerland are committed to it with great dedication and passion. With our offerings such as the emergency number 147, parent letters, application trainings, media usage workshops and many more, we support children and young people as well as their parents daily.
You don’t like hierarchy and long, central decision-making processes? You are interested in collegial leadership and self-organization or you already know it? Oh, now it’s getting exciting!
Would you also like to help shape and have a positive impact on children and young people in Switzerland? Then strengthen our team!
To strengthen our parent letters team, we are looking for a committed and responsible person as a Specialist Account Management for the German-speaking region with a focus on public sector financiers. In this role, you will take over account management and support key account management in the care and development of B2B customer relationships. The focus during maternity cover is the piloting and market launch of a new early childhood parenting support offering.
What are the tasks awaiting you?
Account management of the parent letters (German-speaking Switzerland), as well as building financing for a new portfolio of offerings.
- Building and maintaining relationships with existing and potential financiers for the pilot phase and market launch
- Presentation of the offering as well as proactively initiating and leading sales and financing discussions with public sector entities
- Close collaboration and support within the team to implement the pilot phase and scale financing before market launch
- Ensuring a smooth transition from financing current products to financing the new offering
- Managing existing parent letter accounts, including implementing sales measures
- Supporting key account management, as well as monitoring and ensuring compliance with annual cost ceilings of key accounts
- Independently performing various administrative tasks in reporting, contract processing, and documenting all activities in CRM and other systems
What profile do you bring?
- Initial professional experience in account management, sales or a comparable function, ideally with experience in the NPO environment or public sector
- Negotiation skills, persuasiveness, and enjoyment of sales and financing discussions
- Very good language skills and communication competence in German, both spoken and written (French and Italian skills are an advantage)
- Confident handling of common office applications and CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce)
- Independent, structured, and goal-oriented working style
- High personal responsibility and enjoyment of agile, collegial working methods
What you can look forward to!
- Meaning in your daily work! Your work always has an impact, whether directly or indirectly, on the well-being of children and young people in Switzerland
- Highly motivated team that works together
- 40-hour workweek including generous mobile office arrangement
- Time to recharge: 6 weeks of vacation per year
- 5 paid training days (equivalent to 40 hours regardless of workload), which can be freely used
- 6 weeks paternity leave / 20 weeks maternity leave (from 2nd year of service)
Would you like to combine experience in account management with personal responsibility, willingness to shape, and joy in development while helping to build a new offering? Then we look forward to your application soon!
