The medical service of Domicil Bern AG was founded in spring 2024 and is still being developed - with plenty of room for co-creation, new ideas, and innovative care models. If you want to live your passion for clinical work, are looking for an alternative to hospital routine, or the classic general practice does not appeal to you right now, this position could be the perfect next step for you!
In your role as a physician in the telephone on-call service, you take on a central role in the medical care of our residents: You assess the information transmitted by our Advanced Practice Nurses (APNs) about patients, make well-founded medical decisions on further procedures, and always act in the sense of patient-centered medicine.
The on-call service takes place from Monday to Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. - optionally from home office or at our location at Engehaldenstrasse 22 in Bern. In exceptional cases, a short-term deployment at one of our locations in the Bern area may be required.
If desired, you can additionally complement your workload by working as the responsible nursing home physician and, together with an APN, take over the medical care of the residents at one or more assigned locations. Many options are possible - we will jointly design a work model that suits you.

Your Profile
- General practitioner or specialist in general internal medicine
- Specialist title in geriatrics or palliative medicine is an advantage
- Good IT skills
- Resident in the Bern region for on-site assignments
- Driver's license category B is an advantage
- Reliable and independent working style
- Team player and solution-oriented
