As Social Media Manager & External Communication Specialist within our Content Strategy & Production team, you shape how Bühler shows up externally. You guide marketing teams across businesses and regions to ensure all social media and external communications are aligned with our corporate narrative, brand standards, and editorial quality. By defining governance and content standards for Bühler's social media ecosystem, you help drive our shift from channel-focused execution to strategic, stakeholder-centered communications.
This is where you'll excel
- You manage day-to-day execution of Bühler Group's corporate social media channels, including content planning, posting, community management, and engagement
- You ensure consistency of messaging and brand standards across Bühler's global social media ecosystem
- You consult business and regional marketing teams on PR, social media and external communication approaches aligned to corporate standards as well as deliver recommendations on messaging, timing, channel selection, and execution approach
- You engage appropriate Corporate Communications colleagues (Media Relations, video, editorial) to develop integrated solutions
- You ensure consistency of messaging and brand standards across Bühler's global social media ecosystem
These are the skills you'll need
- 5-7 years experience in social media management, corporate communications, or related role, preferably in B2B industrial or technology sectors
- Experience in Swiss corporate environment with understanding of Swiss business culture
- Strong consulting and advisory skills as well as strategic thinking combined with hands-on execution capability
- Agency background with experience managing multiple client relationships as well as strong consultative approach and ability to advise without authority
- Very good communication skills in German and English
