The University Service of Psychiatry for Children and Adolescents (SUPEA) of the Department of Psychiatry at CHUV is looking for a chief resident at 80% for the outpatient sector, within the Payerne consultation.

Context
The Lausanne University Hospital (CHUV) is one of the 5 Swiss university hospitals. In collaboration with the Faculty of Biology and Medicine of the University of Lausanne and EPFL, it plays a leading role in medical care, research, and education.
The University Service of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry (SUPEA) is a cantonal reference for psychiatric treatments for children and adolescents. It advocates a community and outpatient proximity vision, while offering hospital care and specialized services in collaboration with the network.
The "General and Specialized Consultations" sector is present in the three regions North, Center, and West of the canton. It welcomes patients from birth to 18 years old as well as their families.
The care provided is integrated, based on thorough investigations, diagnosis, and co-construction of treatment plans with families and the professional network.
Mission
- You ensure the operational management of a multidisciplinary team in close collaboration with the co-lead psychologist
- You supervise and train the unit's assistant doctors and assistant psychologists
- You conduct child and adolescent psychiatric investigations and examinations, make diagnoses, and develop treatment plans
- You provide psychotherapeutic care for patients and their families
- You manage psychopharmacological treatments
- You develop network activities
- You manage and follow up crisis situations and participate in second-line on-call duties.
Profile
- You hold an FMH title in child and adolescent psychiatry and psychotherapy, or equivalent, or are in the process of obtaining it (title recognized by the Federal Commission of Medical Professions – MEBEKO)
- You have at least 3 years of experience in child and adolescent psychiatry
- You have a strong interest in working with children, adolescents, their families, and the network
- You are able to work in a team and share your knowledge
- You master French (minimum B2 level, certificate required for non-French speakers)
