The primary school Uster, with around 3,000 school and kindergarten children, is the third largest school community in the canton of Zurich. Uster is reachable by train from Zurich main station in 14 minutes.
Due to a retirement, we are looking for a committed and competent after-school care manager (m/f/d) for supplementary school care with a workload of 70–90%. The position is for 4 or 5 working days per week, depending on the agreed workload. The gross annual salary (100%) is CHF 93,000–110,000 (proportionate to 70–90% workload).

Your main tasks
- Leadership and organization of the after-school care with a dynamic team of 10 to 12 employees
- Design of high-quality care in close cooperation with your team, the parents, and the teaching team
- Care of 40 to 120 children, depending on the weekday
- Further development of pedagogical concepts and ensuring the quality of care
- Professional and personnel management of employees, including promotion and further training
- Administrative and organizational tasks (e.g., duty planning, budget management, parent communication)
- Close cooperation with the school management, the head of day structures, school social work, and other specialist offices
Your qualifications
- Completed training in social work, social pedagogy, child education, a teaching diploma, or a federal certificate of competence (EFZ) as a childcare professional
- Experience in leading a team
- Leadership training or willingness to complete it
- Leadership and communication skills as well as a structured, independent working style
- Resilience, flexibility, and enthusiasm for innovation in everyday work
- Proficient in using modern digital work tools
- Ideally experience in the field of supplementary school care
