Attached to the Department of Medicine , the Infectious Diseases Service aims to combine clinical activity meeting the needs of a university hospital with academic research and teaching activities with the Faculty of Medicine. It ensures the diagnosis and treatment of all patients suffering from an infectious disease, including HIV/AIDS patients , for whom all applicable measures to slow or even stop the progression of their condition are implemented in coordination with interdisciplinary care.
Job Description
You ensure the secretarial duties for the responsible physician as well as the administrative management of the unit's managers and staff, as well as those of the collaborators associated with the outpatient consultation, with rigor and autonomy.
You are responsible for the coordination, management, and follow-up of invoices related to the various funds managed by the consultation, respecting standards, procedures, and deadlines.
You handle the management of personnel administrative files with discretion and respect for professional confidentiality.
You prepare files, projects, and scientific manuscripts.
You manage and update the HIV/AIDS unit's website.
You ensure the organizational and administrative management of various symposia and conferences.
You type medical reports and schedule appointments.
You participate in the various activities and replacements within the service.
Qualifications
You hold a Federal VET Diploma as a commercial employee and/or a medical secretary diploma, or any training deemed equivalent.
You have 1-2 years of successful experience in a similar position.
You have perfect mastery of French, both spoken and written, and excellent writing skills.
You are very comfortable using computer tools (ECDL standard/advanced level on Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and/or Web) as well as the software used at HUG.
While having a good sense of organization and priorities, you are an autonomous, rigorous, and precise person in the tasks entrusted to you.
You also have the tools to handle unforeseen events and easily manage stressful situations.
Finally, you demonstrate a keen sense of confidentiality.
