Specialist in Facility Management, focus on maintenance service: 3 years of vocational training. 4 days of practical work, 1 day of vocational school per week. Graduation with a federal certificate of competence EFZ. Also possible with vocational baccalaureate (BMS).

Possible workplaces include the municipal depot and civil engineering office, airport, ...

You are orderly, reliable, service-oriented, and skilled in crafts. You ensure smooth operations in companies, schools, or municipalities. You are responsible for building cleaning and maintenance. You check and ensure that all building technical systems run properly. For example, solar, sanitary, heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems. You largely carry out the necessary maintenance work yourself; electrical work, painting, repairs, and much more. Occupational safety and health protection are also very important to you.

You work where others spend their leisure time. And you ensure that they can enjoy it carefree. So that water lovers, ice princesses, and the football stars of tomorrow find the best training conditions. You are responsible for water treatment and water quality in the swimming pool. As a lifeguard, you always keep a watchful eye on the bathers and can save lives in an emergency. In the ice facilities, you prepare the perfect ice for ice hockey, figure skating, or curling. Depending on the workplace, you are responsible for the maintenance of gymnasiums, athletics facilities, and football fields. Occupational safety and health protection are of great importance in all activities.
