Teaching assignment for Pedagogy and Psychology 5 - 10%The Kantonsschule Zimmerberg in Au ZH was newly opened in August 2020. In its upcoming seventh year of operation, it is expected to have 25 classes with a total of around 600 students. It offers a long and a short gymnasium with five Matura profiles (classical languages, modern languages, mathematical-scientific, economic-legal, as well as philosophical-pedagogical-psychological). In the young, manageable cantonal school, personal contact and the individual are at the center.
For the 2026/27 school year, we are looking for a lecturer for the newly offered focus subject PPP at our school for the subject Pedagogy and Psychology.
Your tasks
The teaching assignment includes 2 weekly lessons in the autumn semester 2026/27 and 1 weekly lesson in the spring semester 2027. With successful cooperation, continued employment from the 2027/28 school year with a workload increasing over the years is possible.
Since the focus subject PPP will be newly offered at Kantonsschule Zimmerberg in the 2026/27 school year, you will develop, alongside the teaching workload and in close coordination with the philosophy teacher, the interdisciplinary subject guidelines that complement the existing curriculum, thus significantly shaping the teaching of Pedagogy and Psychology at our school.
Your profile
You have completed a university degree in Pedagogy/Educational Science and Psychology, hold a teaching diploma for the subject Pedagogy/Psychology or are in advanced training for it, and have corresponding teaching experience at the gymnasium level. You are motivated to build up your subject at a young school and also to be conceptually active. You enjoy working with young people and have pedagogical skills. You are an open, flexible personality interested in contributing to the development of our school and engaging beyond teaching.
