Android Engineer (m/f/d)

About the job

As an Android Developer, you are responsible together with your teammates for everything related to Android: from developing the mobile frontend of our latest product to expanding our widely used apps with new features. Together, we ensure that we optimally support our users even during the next thunderstorm, timetable change, or hiking trip. We develop both proprietary products like Fluid Meteo, Flesk, EchoSOS, or Viadi as well as solutions in cooperation with partners such as SBB, Post, or MeteoSwiss.

Besides actual development, you are also co-responsible for ensuring that the Android team is always prepared for future challenges: always close to the latest technologies in the Android world. We are looking for experienced developers who are already familiar with the Android world and for whom "Shared Element Transitions" or "Recompositions" are not foreign terms. Together with you, we will continue to meet the growing number of our users and projects.

You want to do awesome stuff, work on the most used apps in Switzerland, and come up with cool solutions together in a well-coordinated team to simplify the everyday life of millions. Programming brings you joy and you take every opportunity to use your skills – whether hacking a small tool to make your life easier or searching for a solution to an abstract problem. You look forward to new technologies being announced, such as Jetpack Compose or Kotlin Multiplatform, and are eager to try them out.
